Founder | President

At the age of 17, I founded a clothing company called "Apparel for a Cause" (AFC) with a focus on creating positive change for the global water crisis and climate change. As the president and leader of a team of three, I successfully executed an Indiegogo campaign to get the company off the ground. AFC established official partnerships with world-renowned charities, Free The Children and Eden Reforestation Projects, which provided credibility for the company and ensured tangible social impact.

AFC had two main product launches, both of which sold out within weeks. Our first product, the WaterTee, provided one person in Kenya with clean water for an entire year through our partnership with Free the Children. Our second product, the Catalyst Crew, was more ambitious, allowing customers to choose the cause that mattered most to them – either providing clean water for one person for a year or planting 50 trees in Madagascar to help combat deforestation. We were able to give access to clean water to over 70 people and plant over 4700+ trees in Madagascar. After selling out of both the WaterTees and Catalyst Crews, I was honored to speak on stage at WeDay 2015 in front of over 12,000 people.
