BASc Mechatronic Systems Engineering - 2021
The Mechatronic Systems Engineering (MSE) program at Simon Fraser University (SFU) is a highly regarded bachelor's engineering program based in British Columbia, Canada. During my studies at SFU, I focused mainly on project management, embedded systems, and system design. A few representative projects that showcase my skills are listed below.
DC Fan Control Using PWM
This project uses a Tiva-C micro-controller to create a fan control system which displays the current RPM of the motor, and allows control of the fan through PWM manipulation.
Sustainable Energy Water Purification Simulation
This project proposed a way to provide clean water to those who need it most, sustainably without the use of batteries. This is done via a super capacitor array which charges with solar panel input, at max charge a voltage regulator allows a UV light to be used the flowing water loaded into a tank. As can be seen above everything in this system was modelled using MATLAB.
The Assembly Line
Using LabView and an ICT setup, a full assembly line was simulated, where pieces were sorted and assembled according to their material type and size.
